Akira flicked her ear in acknowledgment. As she turned away she had an idea to help both parties for a short time. She picked up some fresh bedding before heading towards Fala's room. She knocked softly and spoke before getting an answer, "Fala, Warren, it's Akira, I brought you some fresh bedding if you want to switch yours out."

Cobalt ran back through the portal to his cage, before the scientists could bring him under control. Howling in challenge, he lashed his long tail, making sparks fly from the bars. One stray spark flew towards the area Warren and Fala, landing at their feet, still spurting heat. Not noticing this, he continued to bark loudly, making the ground tremble slightly.

He woke with a start, jumping up he ran at the bars, stumbling. He lets out a scratchy neigh, needing food and water. He paws at the ground with his hoof, his tail lashing back in forth in anger. He rears up, letting out a strong bray, he moves his muzzle through the bars, neighing at the cage across from him.
