Ase~
"Theon, can you come here for a second?" She asked looking in the cabnets for something to feed the ryroi.

~Theon~

"Hm? Oh, yeah of course." Theon had been caught up in his own thoughts when Ase asked him to come over so it had taken him a moment to respond.

Shadow went to Dark and picked him up. Dark woke up and squirmed.

Amber smiled as she saw a bulbori mother with a colored child. She could easily steal the new born, so she waited until the mother left to care for it's other, not colored children. Lunging in, she grabbed the colored and sped off, careful not to put anything on fire.

Ase~
Once he was near she leaned in close to him. "Um...about this whole baby thing...should I be showing yet?" She asked a bit worried.

~Theon~

He paused as he considered his answer.
"If we were both human I'd say no but I'm half elf, possibly more and you're part fairy. It's definitely possible that magic is speeding things up like it does for sylesti."

Ase~
"There's such a thing?" This made her nervous. She could almost feel the bump of her stomach growling as they talked. It was almost sickening. "I-I don't feel good." She said suddenly. "I think I need to lay down a bit."

~Theon~

Theon smiled kindly and helped Ase to her bed and sat down next to her. "I thought you were supposed to be the doctor." he said in an attempt to lighten the mood.

In truth it made sense that she wasn't aware of such things, most people didn't know squat about magic. Theon only knew because he had had some... special education on the subject so to speak. Though the source of this knowledge was still to be questioned in the way of credibility seeing as it was given under unusual circumstances.

Ase~
Carefully she lay down. "I am but I've never been pregnant before, I have never treated an expecting mother before. All I have done is bring their children into the world." She groaned a bit and squinted her eyes shut.

~Theon~

Theon stroked Ase's hair lovingly, trying to comfort her. "I know it's all new but, like you said it'll all be worth it."

Theon felt bad, a little guilty actually for having been the one responsible for putting her through this. Hopefully she really was pregnant, and not just coming down with an unrelated illness, or both. Theon shook that thought from his mind. If he started thinking like that he really would start feeling guilty.
