"Alrighty then, hey Aurora, do you think we should weaken Midnight up yet?" Venus asked, turning to Aurora. She shook her head. "Not until I finish, Midnight will eat all of the other blue berries just to annoy me" Aurora said, glaring at the sleeping fox. Venus just laughed. "Okay then, I'll wait" She giggled.

Rio and Jaden finally reached an apple tree from across their spot. It was high so Rio tossed Jaden up in the air so that he could get them.
"Higher Rio! I gotta reach this second apple!" Jaden called.
"Okay." Rio threw him very high, Jaden caught the apple in his mouth and dropped it next to the first apple. They continued to do this for a few minutes.

Hummer took a bite out of an oran berry, made a face, and swallowed hard, clutching her stomach. "That... was not... an oran berry," she moaned. "Survivalist IQ skill doesn't work with look-a-likes. Ho boy...."

"Okay, new rule: Always consult Venus before eating any berries" Aurora said, looking over to Venus, who was cringing from the smell of the Oren berry.

Hummer fluttered her wings, nodded, flopped to the ground, and muttered something about Grimy Food and Oren berries.

Eventually, Midnight finally woke up, coming over to eat his share of food, looking for any blue berries Aurora may have missed, but couldn't spot any, so settled for some apples.

Rio's arms were getting tired as he threw Jaden up one last time to get the 8th apple down. Jaden grabbed onto the apple and snapped it off the tree and then he landed on the ground.
"Oof!" Jaden puffed.
"Sorry, my arms slipped. Throwing up there to get 8 apples is work." Rio panted.
"That's ok. At least we got plenty of apples to eat now." Jaden took the apples and placed them in the bag.

After recovering from the berry and smacking it awawy with her tail, Hummer stretched her wings, shook herself, and flew into a nearby tree, perching on a sturdy limb.

"So, you guys all ready to set out when it's time?" Venus asked the rest of her team. Aurora nodded happily, but Midnight just grunted, still eating while half asleep.
