Considering a 4-vis project for the lace:

Similar to the Dark Love theme? Yes. Am I salty we only got three species of Valentine themes and none of them were vorpas? Also yes.

Ooh, I think those mutations fill up the "dead space" outside the Lace very nicely, actually! Awesome job. I would have used Dark Love colors too.

So, what do folks think of this idea?

I want to make a 1-Vis so he can be used to add Valentine Lace to any project, without any chance that the offspring won't get the trait (or might get a trait one doesn't want). His colors are from my Mantis Shrimp design.

Here's how my Mantis design looks with Valentine Lace instead of Pollen Markings--

I agree with Frawn and SparklingG. I like it, but it's too much for a G3. I was about to start a new project and was temped to add it, but I it's overpowers the G1 and G2 slots for the design.

The prices for the Vorpa Essences has become crazy. Last week they were selling around 40-50k. I refuse to pay the current price. I know Vorps have become more popular lately, but I'm getting a bit miffed that everything Vorpa suddenly has an extra zero (or two) attached to the end. They're not fabled, the prices are ridiculous.

Your project idea looks great!
I really don't like the new gene, but you make it look good.

Well, here he is!

It appears that my name is Inkanyamba and I am a "Sylvorpa."
What's a
Sylvorpa?

For a Regular-Essence pet, his colors came out extraordinarily well.

@S.Ganymede

The new trait matches the D.L theme extraordinarily well.

@Spelf Its going to be a rainbow sylvorpa! Which kind of reminds me of those 'rainbow flies' I sometimes see during summer:

I think I've decided that my main problem with the Lace is how it fades off at the edges...like you expect it to meet up with something else and blend. Maybe it will someday.

SparklingGanymede and SpaceElf, I wish you all the best on your new shinies. I want to see what comes of them. ^.^
