"Well, I'm obviously not-" Amethyst answers Alastor and opens her door, eyes full of tears

Alder giggles as Marie jumps into his lap, stroking the small bird gently. He waves goodbye to Adah sadly- "Promise me you'll come again sometime!" He calls as she leaves. "....I mean, if you can!"

Kori stumbles into bed..... his limbs feel..... heavier than usual. He passes out as he gets into bed, blue eyes fluttering closed.

"Do you want to talk about it Amethyst?" Alastor asked gently.

Ray plays with some animals, a bright smile on her face. "Not really.." Amethyst says, wiping her eyes

"i can visit you every night as long as they don't find out" she smiled giving him a hug "besides I'm probably gonna camp in a cave" she smiled

"Do you want me to get you anything?" Alastor asked gently.


Malis gets up from his desk and turns the paperwork in.

Origin smirks. And.... he's out. Perfect. I suppose sending him to sleep was impatient of me, but no matter. Carefully, he lays three items out on his desk. A large, weathered blue trident- the symbol of the Atlanteans, that once belonged to Kori's father. The basket Kori and Amethyst had used to collect berries, so long ago. Finally, a vial of Kori's blood, collected from while the fairy was still a servant. Three items connected to his life force, the core of his magic. This..... should be interesting. I haven't performed this retual in a long time. One slip, one display of weakness or emotion, and he's mine.

Origin takes a deep breath, preparing all the steps of the ritual.
Then- slowly- he removes his mask.

Malis is walking around the place to go rest for the day. He felt something wrong in the air and slightly freezes. "Where is that coming from?" Malis thought to himself and past Lord Origin's door to the bedrooms that he lives in.
