"Think of Spirits as dead heroes who live in a place with no time or perception of reality. That is why we may not see illusions like temples and djinns. We may see spirits as they have been given a flesh form here in the body of someone of these times, so we bare the knowledge of the era we are summoned to." she continued after a pause, "Spirits may be past or future heroes, but here we are only ranked on our stars. I know every spirit out there, and they know me. That is why we rarely share our real names. Alicia is the one this body owns."

He nodded, glancing back out across the sea. So when I die, will become a Spirit as well? Or do I have to be a hero?
