(well you can take her to get appraised which is basically letting you know what she's good at, what type of dragon it is for only 10g)

As you near the tree you move closer only to be amazed at what you see! the tree is, in fact, a great dragon! You've only heard of these dragons in legends. they are extremely rare and cannot be tamed. however, they can give one immense power and advantages. as you step closer it speaks "I am old now...And I grow weary. But perhaps you can help me...My sanctified water was taken from me. it's what sustains me and the land I protect. could you travel and bring it back to me?"

Thatch you could easily find, as for branches i suppose you could use sugar cane stalks which dot the rivers in the meadows...Also you can use some strong weeds/grass instead of seaweed

I will take him to the Dragon Trader (or is it Seller? I'm to lazy to check XD) and see what kind of dragon he is and pick him up a saddle.

Okay and don't worry you got it right!
When you reach the dragon Trader Amaron greets you. Ah another dragon? Well, let's see him. Hmm, definitely a fire dragon! however, he's a fighter. very fiesty. I'm surprised you caught him so easily. i wouldn't suggest you ride him. however, he can protect any young dragons or supplies you have!
