[Pinged some folks]
Well...I think the new Valentine Lace design is cute (aw, little hearts and swirls)...but I can't find anything I like to go with it. So I'm probably just not going to make one. >.<

Other thoughts? Input? Someone already making plans to generate some Lacey Seamonkeys?

Sitting on a tasty enhanced essence, but so far am unable to come up with a design I like enough to use it. Maybe I'll feel inspired and come up with something sometime this week. If not, oh well. ^^;;

Psh. I has two...and no plans for either. I'll send you one to work with! Last night the cheapest essence on the broker was 250K. Ugh.

I had thought about generating a few in the colors of some themes that I like so that those themes could kinda sorta have the trait, but...

Honestly, I've played around with it in the generator, and it doesn't seem to wanna play well with the other genes. I get the feeling that it should've been a G2 instead of a G3. It's a cute little gene, but mixing it with anything other than a mutation looks really weird. It'd probably look cute with Rippling Runes if they weren't in the same slot. :/

SparklingGanymede, I agree that the area of the body that the Valentine Lace covers made me think it should have been in the G2 slot as well... I wanted to put Iridescence on it (I put that ish on everything).

Wow, thank you! I was not begging, just bemoaning. (Goes to Generator.)

Edit: The Festive Boys are settling in nicely. They are now named Frogmanay and Happy Newt Year.

If anybody can think of any more Winter Holiday/Amphibian puns, I would appreciate them! I'm running out of names.

...I think you mean Festive, silly. ^.~

I'll put on my thinking cap! Also, what's a Frogmanay punny?

Post edited. Ras Thavas's two kids just moved into the Stables, so I had "Sunsong" on the brain.

"Hogmanay" is another word for New Year's Eve. It's celebrated in Scotland by visiting friends' houses and giving/receiving gifts. The idea is that the first person to cross your threshold on Hogmanay sets the luck of your entire household for the year, so you want a really lucky person to be your first visitor. Other Hogmanay customs are just weird, like in Dundee, where people visiting their friends' houses would decorate a dead herring and take it with them.
