I love the color choices and over-all fire theme, there's just enough to make it interesting, but I don't get lost.

imo the fire on the tail is a little distracting, and the color is a bit off. Consider using the crystalline tail instead?

I like the design you were going for, it's just the shade of blue and yellow you used clash together and then the staff also seems out of place.
