The Skrills spotttef the riders, and immediately shot lightning at them. However, Pyro saw Strike, and noticed that his face was etched in fear, and his lightning bolts just missed the riders. Pyro smiled, and called out to his friends, *dodge the lightning, but dont fight back! Just fly!*

The riders and dragons did as he said, they dodged the lightning easily.

The Skrills continued fighting, and a few flew down to stop the riders from coming closer. One growled, and Hunter, who was hanging on to Drago, translated, *stay there. We have important rituals to do here.*

The Skrills moved slightly, so the riders got a vew of what was going on.

Adult Skrills were ina large circle, Strike included. All the adults were smiling, proud and beaming. And on their backs...

Were Skrill hatchlings.

Pyro gasped. *STRIKES a DAD?!*

Strike looked at Pyro, grinned, then faced the circle, and raised his hatchling with his head. The rest of the Skrills copied, and suddenoy, they seemed to fling their hatchlings with their heads, hatchlings not even minding.

Pyro gasped, but couldnt get them, with the large Skrills in the way.

Shadow also gasped, he was excited that he would be able to witness this for the first time.

THe hatchlings dove, and suddenly, they spread theyre wings and took flight.

That is, all except one.

Strikes.

The hatchling has spread her wings, but couldnt catch the air and fell, squeaking. Strike dove, but he woudnt make it.

Pyro gasped, and jumped off Curse, ignoring the lightning that was now burning his flesh and his leather for disobeying. All he knew was he had to get that dragonet.

He fell alongside the hatchling, Razorwhip armor crackling electricity, and grabbed the baby, curling himself so he would land.

They hit the earth with a sudden thud.
