She growls at it warily.

it kept prying the bars apart, growling.

then it suddenly reared back and roared in pain, lookin gto the side. they saw the young scientist holding a sniper rifle, aimed at the monster. *get out and go!* he called, jumping to the side of the monsyers bite.

She tries to jump out of the cage; her spider half is a jumping spider, so ordinarily that would be easy. But, with her injured leg, all she manages is a tiny hop before falling facefirst to the floor below.

the strix flew off as the monster turned to face her before roaring as it was sjot in the head.

the scientist went in frotn of her and yelled, *dont touch her!* while reloading.

The spider-lady just stays behind the scientist, not sure what else to do in such a situation.

while using the gun to keep the monster at bay, the scientist (who introduced himselfs as frank) quickly made her a splint for her leg with some wood, plastic, snd duct tape. she could walk and jump, but no sprints or leaping.

She stays close by him, clearly frightened by the monster.

he kept defending her, and when the gun ran out of bullets, he used it like a baseball bat while firing a pistol.

ij simple terms, he was awesome. for a human, anyway.

She watches him quietly.

he asked while fighting, *hey, can you make silk since your part spider?*
