Yeah. Her species dont have an end to their digestive system- instead, they get rid of waste by turning it into silk, which gets made while they sleep. Usually the silk is a deep golden color, dyed by their magic, but when theyre stuck without magic its a pale, slightly translucent white.

She tosses the silk to the strix. They don't really have a use for it, but it's a nice gesture at least.

It's quite thin, though. So despite being a jacket it's not very insulating.
