"Just have to get use to it." Selkie spoke. The horse looked at Selkie and picked up the pace.
"I have some in my bag." Douglas agreed.
Kane looked back at them, "So explain why you need to see the king since I didn't get the full story."

"Simply, I'm here because a threat has been made against my homeland. I'd like to find any information on it that I can, and maybe enlist some assistance...." Kaladin answered.

"Where are you from then,' Kane asked.
A farmer working in his field stared in amazment at the chestnut horse Locke was riding.

Locke noticed this and waved awkwardly.
"I hail from Angel Island." Kaladin replied.

The farner waved back.
Kane looked at Kaladin, "So it is true, good to have a potential ally in the coming years."
"Wonder why the famer took suck an intrest in Locke's horse yet ignored ours," Douglas muttered.

Kaladin tilted his head. "Pardon?"

Locke shrugged. "Ain't got tha slightest idea..."

Please excuse my saying so but your tribe is a legend here on this island. Only a handful of sailors have gone to your island and returned alive and even fewer are willing to talk about their experiences. Kane explained. In the coming war we need all the help we can get against Void and it might be mutually beneficial to help each other.

Douglas frowned deep in thought.

"Is the food here diffrent than opal's place?" she asked

Kaladin smiled sheepishly. "The reason your sailors don't say anthing is because we tell them not to." He mummbled. "But any help would be greatly appreciated."
