(Length. Not width. Also Im basing it on Camp Cretaceous, where the exact same thing happened, albeit with large vents a person could crawl through.)
Maybe back out and clog the vent.

It began scratching against the blockage, which was just a vent grate and some heavy desks.

Then the blockage broke and the Monolophsaurus broke free, snarling.

The second the Monolophasurus broke free the machine fired at it hitting it squarly in the face. It uickly reloadded and fired again.
