Her skin was much paler, the bones of her face sharper, and her eyes seemed enormous, those of a deer caught in headlights. Two long pointed ears jutted up from both sides of her head.

"The Elysium will be in a few days, and I will have you where I can see you," the King said as if nothing was wrong. He clapped, and a female satyr broke away from the crowd to bow before him. "Take my daughter to her room. See that she is made comfortable."
"Yes, my lord," murmured the saytr, and began to clop away, glancing back to see if Linna was coming. Oberon leaned back, not looking at her, his face blank an stony.
