You light one of the matches and begin to walk carefully down into the depths of the cave. The ground is covered in loose stones and rocks that seem to keep making you stumble and almost fall in a few cases. After descending a few tens of feet you find that the cave splits into two. One path stays at the same height and the other seems to get smaller.

You pull the lock away from the cage door and pull it open slowly. The two creatures sit completely still for a second, before stalking forward and sitting by your feet. They seem to be really thankful to be not inside the cage anymore.

Rosepetal happily bounds over to Whitecloud and jumps up onto her back before curling up into a loose ball. You smile and wonder if you should go to sleep now.

I follow it towards the flower bed, curious about both the bright yellow (and somehow glowing) flowers and as to where the small little fox-creature was going.

I put my hand out so they can sniff it before I try and pet them. I don't want to scare them more than they probably are.
