She grins and runs down the path. "Race you there!" she yells, neglecting the fact that you don't even know where the house is.

She stops. "Whoops. You're right. That defeats the purpose of a race, doesn't it?" She slows to a walk. "I guess you'll have to follow me."
After some time of walking, you arrive in front of a normal-looking house.

(Eh. Let's name him Erwin. The magic is something like spells but requires hand motions instead of words and no wand or anything. Some of them need magical components though.)
(Lol, yeah, they do eat, normal animal stuff like meat and plants)
Your familiar yips eagerly, nudging you with his nose before darting into the kitchen, where you can hear him pawing at the place where the meat is usually kept.

Just as you step outside, you can hear shouts coming from around the corner, presumably guards. "Where'd he go? It's like he just disappeared..."
