"I didn't snatch her. She's a death sentence to me." Ivan grumbled. "I'm looking for five able sailors to help man the ship. If you like Princess Prissy-Pants, you can join me. If not..." he sighed. "You'd be away from Tsar Putz-face's vision."

He smirked, "Watcha got for pay? I ain't no free man."

"Well, I take you off the streets where you could be disemboweled, kidnapped, or squished by cargo. You get free meals, a girl you like, and you don't have to put up with the Tsar. Also, I'd give you twenty gold every week and passage to Copenhagen, Denmark." Ivan said casually.

He looked like he was about to laugh and held it in, "You got yourself a deal" he offered his hand to shake, "Names Ed."
