You grab Chestnut and fall down, however you feel like you're going slowly. The runes were changing your perspective of time so you didn't take fall damage.

Uh stuff on everything

The library is full of specific books, there is nothing explaining everything.

Overnight it rains continuously, but you manage to sleep. In the morning you wake up with a sneeze, your nose runny.

I get up and wipe my nose on my sleeve. Ugh, that's what I get for sleeping in the rain.

You head into the forest. It was told the town was on the edge of the forest, beside fields and jungles. As you walk, a bird lets out a startled call and a flock of them flew quickly overhead, as if something had scared them away.

I signal Jasper to stop and tilt my head, listening

I dart into the bushes trying to get Jasper to be quiet, maybe I could try an illusion to help hide me?

The fish scent was everywhere, as well as salted sea water. The marketplace was bustling, but you could make out a sign on the other side saying "stables"
