The smells of cinnamon and smoke, which had been faint before, are nearly overpowering. It smells as if he's standing in the midst of a wildfire (that's burning nothing but cinnamon), and yet the only source of the smell is the dimly burning scented fireplace in the living room.

Each sense feels as if it's been multiplied by ten. Everything is extremely clear and bright, and colors that he's never seen before seem as obvious as colors he's already seen.

He's got speckles on his feathers. It's one of these colors that's not visible to the human eye, but it's quite pretty.
