Arai looked up at Nai, his eyes no longer black and milky-blind. His blind eye was overflowing with a golden light, his right eye still burning in shadow. Slowly, he smiled, grim. 'What..did you...do?' he asked, seeming short of breath.

Araithion's breathing shallowed. Slowly, he looked up at Nicote. 'So, that's it, eh? Don't want the souls to be released?' He frowned, realising what they were probably trying to do.
He put his hands forward, taking Oak's hits to the wrists, bloodying them.
