She recently had to become used to answer and fight back when she was insulted, to not appear weak. A few years before she would not have responded aggressively and nothing would have happened.

Thalie looked very interested when she saw the chocolate bar. She wanted chocolate so much...
"Do you have an other one? If you have one, I'll give you gold for it!" she said.
To prove that she was serious, she took a gold coin from her pocket.

"You are not going to use gold coins to buy them chocolate?" asked Elia, half shocked and half jaded
"I do what I want". replied Thalie.
"And you reproach me the price of my dress..." sighted Elia
"How about two coins?" insisted Thalie, taking out another golden coin.
"If you don't want to keep these coins, you know you can sell them for thousands of euros or dollars in the 21st century! You'll be able to buy way more chocolate if you wait and do that!" observed Elia.
"I don't want to wait."

"uh, yeah!" Frisk pulled out another bar and handed it to Thalie. "you can have it, i keep alot more because of Chara" Frisk smiled, and Chara looked like she had just been betrayed. "why are you giving them my chocolate?!" frisk cleared his throat, "you mean our chocolate?" then turned to thalie again. "i dont really need money anyway." Frisk was basically right in front of Elia and Thalie at this point. Flowey cringed away, "ugh" he grumbled.

Reflected!Frisk once again vanished into smoke, her laugh still echoing through the place.
Say what you want. Reflected waved a hand, dodging Reflected!Frisk's barrage of needles that seemed to come from nowhere. She is the embodiment of the darkness of humanity. All of them are bad.

"Thank you so much!" said Thalie before taking the bar and and peeling off the wrap. "I love chocolate, I missed it so much! Honey cakes, pear patina and quince cheese are not that bad if you have to eat them once or two times, but chocolate if way better!"
Now, it was Elia who was sighting and rolling her eyes.
"If you can't survive a month without chocolate, bring some with you next time!"
Her cousin had seriously tried to give ancient golden coins for one chocolate bar. Something should be wrong with her. The child had been nice to refuse to take them.
"I did bring some with me, but I let Marcus try it, and he ate all of it". Thalie explained, with the mouth full of chocolate.

"no problem" Frisk said. he wasnt quite sure what was with both of them and Chara, but he didnt want to pester them. "so your friend ate all the chocolate that you had?" he laughed, "you sound like Chara" just idle, friendly conversation. then why am i thinking about this now? i.. i have to keep myself sounding normal. not sad, angry, just be nice. Frisk thought to himself. he kept a smile on his face and a light, cheerful tone. Frisk noticed Chara was staring at him, and shot a glance her way. she went over, so now they shoulder to shoulder. Chara whispered, it was hard to make out, "are thinking gen them? ho sick?" Frisk kinda understood and nodded slightly. after a moment Chara disappeared from view. But, Frisk could still feel her presence, this filled him with Determination. He looked towards Elia, "so you travel through timelines?" he asked.

"He never had chocolate before. I wanted him to taste it. Bad idea." explained Thalie.
"Marcus is always hungry. You should not ask him if he wants food. He'll eat everything. And since Marcus liked the chocolate, she let him finish it. She has a crush on him, you see!" continued Elia.
"I don't have a crush on him!" protested Thalie.
"You have. But you have a crush on half of the cute guys you meet, so..."
Thalie was blushing and frowning out of irritation at the same time.
"This is not true".

The two young women could not really understand what Chara said and did, and where she had young.

"Yes, we are travelling two time. But only in one timeline, I think." Elia explained. She looked around her at the hub, wondering if they had arrived in another timeline. That could explain a lot of things about this place.
"Usually". she added.

Storm smiled. "Heh, would love to but no arms."

"Oh" was all Frisk said, nodding to himself. Thinking about it now, what was the real cause to bring us here? And if in they exist in a world without reset then nothing like that could be the cause. Frisk felt a shiver go down his spine and looked behind him. He forgot that the other girl, Abby, was even present. She looked at the other two women quickly, as if painfully trying to hide that she was staring at him instead. "Whats up with her?" Chara whispered in his ear. He shrugged slightly, and Abby spoke up. "Hmm, he should be back here by now.. its been awhile." She said scratching her head, then she let out a long sigh. "He better-" just then, there was another flash of light and a figure formed into the room. Another guest of the hub? This time, it looked like a.. man? They wore a mask, painted with a strange symbol of sorts? With short, dark hair that was a hue of purple. They, or he wore a cloak that completely covered his body. he took a hand up to the latch that held the two sides of the cloak together, adjusted it, and cleared his throat. He had a dark grey sleeve. "Some annoying creature wouldnt stop pestering me, and telling me to come here. He was astonishingly persistent about it, and had a look of urgency. Once i agreed to come he took off" He said this to the four of them.
