"I wish that was true, I disappeared, for who knows how long, to hide in my burrow. If anything, I complicated things." Blue said.

"Yeah, and I sat back and watched everything happen. A bunch of strangers crashed your house and suddenly all these hunters showed up. Obviously, you'd want to get away. But running away now isn't going to help anybody," Elissa said, walking backwards in front of Blue so she could look her in the eyes.

"Hunters? What are you talking about?" Blue asked.

Elissa sighed, looking down at the ground. "Maya ran into some hunters. But that's even more reason for you to stay with us. We have a better chance in a group."

Blue grabbed Elissa's wrist and dragged her back to her burrow. "Stay right here." She said. She pushed the boulder aside then slid down the burrow. She began digging where her bed was till she found large a box. She came back up with the box. "My dad loved to make weapons. It was his favorite pass time. The only reason I kept them was so they wouldn't get in bad hands." She said quietly. She opened the box which contained weapons of all kinds. "I left them in the burrow because no one knew of the burrow and that I have these weapons." She said.

Elissa inspected the weapons, picking up a sword and giving it an experimental swing. "I doubt everyone will need one. Their animal forms are definitely strong enough. But me? I have webbed feet for heavens sake. Do you...do you mind if I take this?" she asked. She hated the fact that she was going to be walking around armed, but she didn't want to be useless again.

"Of course, that's why I brought it out. We are all just kids. Our animal forms alone won't save us, especially if they have halfbreeds as well." Blue said.
(I have to go, school tomorrow)

"Thanks!" Elissa said, using the final remains of her tattered jacket to make a sort of belt. She thrust the sword in it. "So I assume you're staying?" she asked with a smile.
(Okay, bye!)

"Ya, I'm staying." Blue said. She picked up the box. "Let's go." She said.

I feel a little bit better. I still am ripped apart inside, but it feels good to know that my friends are still my friends. I sit up a little bit burying my head in Jackson's shoulder. I hope I don't get blood on him.
