~Nights~

Nights colour brightened again as she walked over to her master and leapt into his lap as if she were a simple housecat. She turned around and blinked at the mother ryori with her lamp like blue eyes.

~Theon~

"Perhaps we'll scout the tunnels tomorrow."
Theon was a little surprised when Nights leapt onto his lap but didn't think much else of it. For some reason he felt as if she had always been part of his life, so to him her sudden appearance and unexplained familiarity with him seemed only natural.

Shadow shook herself and she appeared. She hoped the humans would notice her but she felt too dizzy. She collapsed. Her side was bleeding slightly.

Ase~
The way the animal treated the man was in a way that meant she was a pet to him, but why did she show up now of all times? That was still a mystery to her. Yawning slightly she sipped the tea. It was sweet and tasteful, just like she liked it. "Alrighty then." She smiled at the man.

Altair-
His head raised as the ryori fell to the ground. Her kits rushed to her side in a panic as they tried to comfort their mother. He rose then and rushed to her. She was bleeding, had she been hurt?

~Theon~

Theon froze as the mother ryori revealed herself, not only to sight but evidently to his extrasensory ability as well. His eyes widened as he picked up on her pain. Setting his tea down he rose to his feet, Nights leaping up onto his shoulder as he did.

Shadow stayed calm and looked at Dark who was trying to get under her front legs. She nuzzled him but pushed him away. Dark cried and Shadow felt sorry for doing that

Ase~
She turned to see the ryori. "My goodness!" She exclaimed as she set her own cup to the side. The boar morkko was already there though she seemed not to notice as she picked the animal up. "Poor thing..." The woman said before carrying her to the table. After a few moments of wrapping and stitching the animal's side was neatly and carefully covered in a thick bandage. "There, good as new."

~Nights~

Nights leapt deftly onto the table and sniffed at the bandages. The human was rather skilled with her hands. She looked up at the woman and tilted her head inquisitively.

Shadow fell asleep. Her breathing steady but faltered every now and then. She sighed in her sleep.

Dark looked at the humans.

~Theon~

Theon knelt down a little ways away from the ryori kits, Nights hopped off his shoulder to stand on the ground in front of him between him and the kits.
He could see them in his mind, he knew they wouldn't understand human speak so he decided to test his connection with them instead.
Reaching out with his mind he spoke to the kits, Your mother is going to be okay, we won't hurt you.

Wisp~
She jumped at the sudden sound, having been taken aback by it. She hissed at the human and hid Dark behind her to protect him.
