She looked away from him and didn't say anything else.

Isiea sneezes and shoots him a glare. She begins looking for her satchel.

Her satchel was in the middle of the encampment, a group of goblins going through it

Suddenly there was a great cry in the goblin camp. Goblins leaped to their feet, hissing and scuttling about, as a large creature sauntered out of the forest into the middle of the encampment.

It was another goblin, only bigger, broader, and meaner-looking than its fellows. It wore a crimson uniform with brass buttons, the sleeves rolled up, and the tails dragging along the ground. It also carried a curved blade, rusty bronze and jagged along the edge. It snarled and swaggered into the camp, the other goblins cringing away from it.

"Shut up, ya pack of jabberin' dogs," the chief roared, aiming a blow at a couple of goblins who didn't get out of his way quick enough. "Worthless, the lot of ya! I been hard at work, raidin' the borderlands, an' what have you lot got to show me, eh? Nothin'! Not even a rabbit fer the stewpot. Ya make me sick."

"Chief, chief!" cried several goblins at once, dancing around and pointing. "Lookit, lookit! We caught something! We brought them back for you!"

"Eh?" The chief's gaze flashed across the camp, his evil eyes fastening on the girls. "What's this? Did you miserable louts actually manage to catch a coupla' high an' mighty elves?"

He sauntered toward the cage. Grimalkin was nowhere to be seen.

Lise stared up at the chief, or whatever they called him. She remembered what Grimalkin said, and showed no fear.

There's various things in the satchel. Her knife, a spare pair of contacts, her glasses which she never wears, her medications for her conditions along with one small baggy of white pills labeled as 'formonitrile'*, some advil, a flashlight whose batteries are now dead, some spare bandaids, a first-aid kit, and the half-eaten packet of crackers.

*(Look it up real quick ;) )

(Not sure where she got those from, but they'll probably come in handy)

"What in Pan's privates is this?" the goblin chief snorted. "These ain't no elf, you cretins. Not unless they bartered away their ears! Besides--" he sniffed the air, wrinkling his snotty nose "--it smells different. Ey, funny elf-things." He smacked the cage with the flat of his sword. "What are ya?"

(I bet at least one curious goblin is gonna try eating one lol)


"{Beep} off!" She retorts, in no mood to tolerate some rude goblin chief.

Lise kept her mouth shut, and wished Isiea would too instead of cursing at the guy.

(Most definitely, yes.)

The chief frowned, scratching his head. "Ah, whatever you are ain't important. Ya look young an' juicy enough, I figure you'll feed me crew fer several nights. So, whats yer preference?" He grinned and raised his sword. "Boiled alive, or skewered over the fire?"

"How about you try both first, and then I'll decide." She replies icily.
