He gave her a nod, both as a goodbye and to subtily show that he was agreeing with her feeling toward those mans. It alwais had iritated him that his father was letting conduct like those slide but for now he had to play his role and wait for the blade at his neck before he could be free from this castle.
( i am still here, dead or alive is a bit debatable after the examen i just finished tho lol)

After she closed her eyes and silently said grace, she attacked her pork ribs like nobody's business. She looked up at Ema. "Three plates!" She laughed. "Did you leave enough cake for everyone else?" She nodded toward a smear of icing that remained on Ema's sleeve.

She held out a hand to high-five Ema, still laughing heartily. Then she slowed down to a chuckle and said, Once I finish this plate, and if youre still hungry, do you wanna head back over to the desert table?

Ahelissa flinched as Nicote cussed, then grabbed Emas hand and dragged her over to the desert table.
Oooh... look at this pie! She grabbed a thick slice of pumpkin pie, helping herself to a few chocolates and fudges here and there.
After this, do you want to head over to the dance floor?
She asked as she snatched a heavily iced cupcake.
