Malis is very confuse on what is happen.

He rolled his eyes "you guys are so sensitive" he said leaning on the seat, she sighed "d-d-dont worry a-a-about i-it" she sighed "i-i-im u-u-used to i-it" she insisted

"no way, he doesn't get to treat you like that" i protest "i am not opposed to ditching him in the forest all alone to be eaten by the creatures there should he continue" i add. at the mention of the creatures in the forest, a collective shudder goes through the crowd. the things in the forest are uncanny, wrong in their own, unique, magicless way.

i'd heard stories, perytons without wings, jackalopes without antlers, things that are missing something. any normal animal would die from such a mutation, unable to defend itself from predators or simply unable to live longer than a few hours. yet these creatures thrive in the magicless forest, fitting for such a cruel, unforgiving place.

"I also don't opposed to eating you and leaving the rest of you to the rodents that would love to finish you off so I guess we are even"he smiled and turned to the forest "leave me alone and I'll leave you alone good? Great!" He said "ugly girl"he mumbles

He casted one more warning glare to the silver haired hyena before turning his attention toward the others. " As i said, i woudnt mind giving him the hatcheling lesson : dont spit venom on others if you dont want to die alone. There is no raison to waste ressource on an ungratfull brat when we only have so mutch to go around, especialy if he is going to drain our energy with his negativity." He sigh and streached his arms before continuing. "Eather way, how about we practice ignoring his tentrums for now, it's starting to get boring."

Thema sat in silent, she was embarrassed at his comments and her actions, she didn't wanna seem like a jerk like he was so she just sat back in silence looking at her feet, Angelo stayed to himself

"yeah, so anyways, caspian is right, water should be first. then shelter, which should be near the water source we find, and a source of food." i add, thinking for a second. "a clearing would be best, that way if there's a storm no branches will fall on us, and we can put out containers to catch the rain"

She was sure if they followed a water source it would lead to a clearing eventually but she kept it to herself,she didn't want to irritate anyone with her stuttering or anything else, Angelo was planning on going a little farther from there camp and Making his own, Thema wasn't gonna hold a grudge against Angelo, maybe he was just upset he was picked, she thought but still kept her ideas to herself no matter how smart they would be

just as it had started moving, the carriage jerks to a stop, and everyone pitches forward. the carriage driver steps down, opening the doors for us. being closest to the doors, i hop out first, sandals sinking into the soft grass.

it smells odd here. the carriage driver thrusts the book into my hand, the one made by the only man who survived being in here. "take this" he grunts, climbing back onto his seat outside the carriage. "thanks" is ay, trailing off. well, he seems friendly. i'm sure it's just the nerves.

She and Angelo got out silently, she was sad but didn't say anything
