She ignored his babbling on and on as long as she didn't talk to them they wouldn't talk to her she thought to herself lightly she didn't like the fact she was out in a group of males but didn't argue she wanted this to be over with that's all, she knew they would pick on her so she came up with a plan to keep everything positive and her out the way

Virgil nods and pats Maddy's shoulder in understanding and comfort. He sighed and looked around to ease his nerves.

This was one of the very few times he was glad Aryn butted in the conversation, there was a whole lot of thing he could have reply to the so called leader but her dangling her title and powers around was enough for him to want nothing to do with her as soon as possible. He quickly jump at the oportunity to no longer have to speak with the girl by answering to his counterpart. " I supose so, but at the same time it may be better then to have to pick favorite. If there is not enough of us for all the colonies, that could turn into a political nightmare."

"Or they want to control us because we have Harbinger's and they don't," Virgil softly mutters haven't spoken in awhile. Virgil sighed and gets his weapon ready.

She listened to there conversation,not butting in but just listening, she took another piece of candy from her bag and ate it holding her book, she looked at the map and knew they had to rest some time but put it away and kept walking till they began complaining

The quiet boy remained silent, he had nothing more to add to the conversation that was relevent at the moment so he just listened. Oris knew it was just a matter of time before Aryn would be able to realy understand him witch woryed and made him glad at the same time. On one hand there would be someone in the team who would be able to understand him without the nead for long explanations but at the same time, it was Aryn so weather or not it was a good thing was still unnown to him. Eather way, the bonding process was already started so time would tell soon enough.

At Aryn's cackle, Kalib can't help but return one, feeling a bit competitive. He bounces forward on the next branches and watches the group below him make slow progress. He sped up a few trees and then waits, hanging upside down while he watches them come closer.
"Who knows what the capital's reason is. Whatever it is, it is probably for the best and they probably know what they're doing. We're just like any normal... person enlisted to serve, sent and spent where and when we're needed just like any soldier... Right?" He glances beneath him to make sure the ground is open, quieting as he drops down to join his group.
Kalib doesn't want to annoy anyone, rather wanting to stay on everyone's good side. Perhaps become friends? No, no, what is he thinking? They seem at each other's throats right now. Now would not be a good time to do anything. Just sit pretty and not draw attention to oneself. Right... Kalib is terrible at doing that.
