You dream of wolves running towards you, teeth gleaming. And there was nothing you could do to stop them from ripping you apart.

You find nothing.

Suddenly. You hear a howl in the distance. You answer with another howl, but the wolf doesn't respond.

I wake up with a start shivering

I am going to howl again, if no response I will back track to my alpha

Your stomach growls.

Still nothing.

You return to your alpha.

I test each of my legs and I manage to stand up and walk over to a bush and wonder if a mouse would sooth my hunger

Before you can find out, your leg buckle s underneath you. A mouse promptly scurried over your head.

How ironic I think, groaning I crawl back to the makeshift den and lie down still hungry

A rabbit peeks out of a bush just outside your reach. It almost seems like it's laughing at you.
