He felt nervous,nervous because...he wasn't sure he wanted to touch another person.Not again.Not after the last time he had trusted another person to take hold of his hand had brought him to the flames. But he still gave her a smile and gently put his strong hand in hers. He was very gentle despite his build. Suddenly,he felt confused on how she would take him from his hanging position.

He suddenly started drifting upward, his legs loosened like he didn't have control over them,then she lightly pushed off from the branch and they went down a little.

He tried to hold onto her,tho still gentle,as his eyes widened with shock. "O-oh g-gosh." He said softly,feeling the need to have something solid to hold onto. He usually held onto a tree tight when he climbed,and that's what kept him calm,able to know he was safe,but he didn't feel safe without it.

His eyes widened even more and their red shine dulled and darkened slightly at the statement "I got you." His father had told him that,as the fire had engulfed their home,the fire that had been set on purpose to their family.His father had said he had him,but had left him in the middle of the flames to die. Sadly,he was the only one to servive,tho having burn scars on his torso because of the flames,that's why he always had on his hoodie. But he still put as much trust as he could in her,trying to relax. He gave her a faint nod as all these memories rushed at him,flooded his head and danced over his eyes.

He smiled and then glanced at the sun's position,then he pointed North. "That way,not to far tho.It's a sort of shiny silver sort of color so you can't m-miss it." He said,trying to sound as calm as he could,and her laugh made him feel better. He didn't understand how tho,or why his heart was hammering.
