Nyx turned away, letting out a huff of air through her nose. She walked a distance of about 20 meters away before sitting down in the tall grasses. They hid her image from the rest of the group, listening to the soft voice that rang in her head, but it wasnt of words, only whimpers.

His eyes flickered back and forth, unsure who to speak to or answer first. Looking at the gold-haired male, he answered briskly, addressing them all. "My name's -" For a breath of a moment he thought about lying, but not every word from his mouth could be fake if he were to earn their trust, " -Isaac. " A twinge of guilt crawled through his belly at the look of trust Hayden gave him, but he could work with that. "And you are?" He spoke more clearly and was no longer shaking, his wounds scabbing over and pain numbed. Isaac sent silent thanks to Tiffany, hoping she knew how much it meant to him. The smile on his face as he waited for Hayden's reply was actually coy, he found him fairly attractive and the male himself made him go all warm for a moment, looking into his eyes. Isaac realized he might actually feel bad when this one died.

(Kiwi is it ok if I ship Isaac with Hayden?)

"I don't trust him." Nicote folded his arms.

"You don't trust anyone." Caterina countered.

"I do . I trust my girlfriend. I trust Nans. I don't trust random newbies dropping in out of nowhere."

(Yeah, that would be interesting for the story, I don't mind :D )
Hayden grinned and ruffled his own hair before responding "I'm Hayden, thanks for helping us out, how did you know we needed help?" He asked shifting closer to sit beside Isaac, already trusting him with his life.

Nyx sat alone silently, focusing through the grasses that filtered in front of her, similar to a cheetah stalking their prey. She listened to the voice that spoke in her mind.
Why are we here?

"Oh i don't know, maybe because he's a **** stalker." Nicote grumbled.

"Shut it Nicote, you can bounce around your theories in you brain or something, we'l deal with thatl later." Caterina elbowed him. He grunted.

"Oh, I saw them about a mile back. I was just gonna keep going, but I thought whoever they were after, I shouldn't just stand by." He rubbed the back of his neck as he spoke. Then, hearing the one's comment, he looked over and chuckled with a dancing light in his eyes. " This stalker went out of his way to save your life. You can think whatever you'd like, but I'd prefer you keep it to yourself while I'm bleeding out, ok?" The slightest trace of a sneer was born upon his face, but it faded in an instant. " Or you could sit in the corner and tell everybody how much you distrust me in the loudest whispering voice I've ever heard." He teased lightly, the smile back on.

"*** **** ***-" Her found a large hankercheif in his mouth.

Caterina sighed. "Ignore him, he hates people. The only thing he likes is tinkering with stuff, acting ike a vampire, and his girlfriend."

Nyx kept her expression blank, continuing to stare through the grasses, back turned to the rest of the group. She enjoyed the quiet, staying away 20 meters and remaining hidden by the vegetation, the voice speaking in her mind again.

I never fell asleep! But why did we wake up in this meadow? Nyx~, I'm scared!

'Calm down, Sly,' Nyx thought in her mind, her pet able to hear her, 'I'm sure it's nothing.'

But what about the guy bleeding out over there?

'He sacrificed himself. Besides, it's none of my business.' Nyx rolled her eyes when having the conversation with the mini spirit, who was still invisible.

He nodded to the girl who spoke up, then his eyelids dropped and he leaned against Hayden as exhaustion took over and he fell into a somewhat deep sleep. The last thought before his brain naturally shut off was, Do not fear, mistress, for I am loyal to you and you alone.. And he curled up in his sleep, half of his body in Hayden's lap.
