A young lynx (it's a shapeshifting scientist, animal behavior) padded to the door of the cage tentatively. "What's your name?" it mewed in animal speak (the language all animals speak and understand), "I'm Tara."

A young scientist brought a large salad for Venus, and set it inside the cage. It was full of small bugs.

A speaker in the wall, where it couldn't be ripped out, buzzed to life.
"If you want to survive the night, mate with the female in the cell next to you." It was the same voice from before. The wall lifted, and there was another indoraptor behind it; a female.
(They want to be able to have another in case they have to kill Claw. And, if they do, you'll be able to take over the youngling.)

THE HECK?!)

Claw gaped, then looked dead at the speaker, not moving. he let out a low growl, and roared, shaking the cell.

(You just have to say you bred her, nothing more. If you think that's too weird, you can escape. The lock on your cell hasn't been maintained in years...)
The voice laughed, and said, "You aren't getting out of this one."
The female shuffled over and sniffed him, curious.

Claw watched the female, wary. he wasnt used to others of his kind.

She woke up, peeking her nose out of her cage again."What happened when I was asleep? Oh well, time to stay silent again." She turned back into her wolf form, now noticing that her paws were emitting sparkles."Oh no."

The female edged closer, curious about this new thing.
(She doesn't even know what a male of her species looks like.)

(noticed)

Claw didnt move, exept watching her, calculating.

She sniffed him up and down, and front to back, with the lack of courtesy of a three-year-old.
