I watched the scene unfold in front of me. Silently, I backed up. I stopped a few feet away and lay down, paws over my muzzle

Kae'rien
"No, it's our territory. We'll share, but we don't want to risk being caught unawares,"Kae'rien said. He let the brown wolf up off the ground, and looked back at the white one still holding his tail, saying, "And now you have three seconds to let go."

The white wolf coward at his tone tucking his tail and letting the tail go. "Just let him go please! We didn't mean any harm! Please we will leave you if you just let him up!" The smaller wolf begged. The brown wolf struggled to get up, flapping his wings some to try and get away.
"Just go Dex, I'll handle them."
"No! I'm not leaving you!" As Dorian was let up the white wolf stepped protectively in front of him. "We will leave alright?"

Kae'rien, Naelan, and Jaesian
"I have no reason to hurt you, though, by all rights, I ought to bite this one's tail," Naelan said, indicating the white wolf, "for biting my mate, but I won't. Now, there are five of us, and only two of you. So, are you going to talk, or are you going to try to fight? Until we know you aren't here to hurt the pack, you aren't going anywhere."

"We aren't looking for a fight." Dexion said trying to hide the fact he was trembling. "We were just wondering what the one wolf was doing stalking us. We meant nothing more by it."

Erwinn had had it. She stalked forward and growled low under her breath, staring at Dexion.

"I was not stalking you. I just happened to come across you when I was flying, and I was wondering what you were doing, so I sat in a tree and simply watched you. I did not stalk you like a mindless piece of prey," Her words were sharp and her tone was flat. Erwinn's fur spiked around her neck. She did not like being even somewhat accused of something...

Naelan
Naelan stepped in front of Erwinn, saying, "Easy, they didn't know."

"How were we to know that? All we knew is one moment we were lying in the sun and the next someone was fleeing the scene." Dorian said his fur standing on end.
"We thought you were a scout going off to tell the pack or something. We meant nothing by it...."

Erwinn shouldered Naelan aside, stepping in front and standing nose to nose to Dorian, teeth bared.

"You're making it sound like I committed a crime," Erwinn said, trying to keep her voice even.

She flicked her tail as if to tell Naelan to back off.

"To us it might as well have been." The larger male snapped. "We were minding our business and you just had to intervene. Seems a bit suspicious on our end. What happened then if you weren't stalking us? Didn't like what you saw?"
