A slap in the face...that was about the best Camilla could come to describing how she felt as Coreth spoke to her. She could feel her face getting hot and she started fidgeting with her hands in her lap out of nerves. What could she possibly say to this man now...
"I...," she began lamely, struggling to gather herself, "I apologize for my comment. It was made without my full understanding of the situation." She couldn't believe she had made such an error...hadn't she always hated people making assumptions about her. "You are fully in the right of it. Do you perhaps have any advice on where I should go? I would be grateful for any guidance."

(So glad you caught that about the naming thing! I don't like to dictate your characters' thoughts and feelings - I usually leave that up to you guys - but I don't think I made it clear, really, that the Harlyyns (Sun), Eols (Stone), and Sterrinochs (Moon) really don't like being called Sun/Stone/Moon, so I had to drop the hint lol.)
With a nod, Eprin followed you out. "Sorry about that. And of course. I did say you'd have a friend in Destinmane," he smiled.
As you stepped out into the town, you notice more merchants than you thought possible in such a small village, all shouting about their wares. You also noted a young boy standing at the edges of it all and looking somewhat lost, and a heavy-weighted orc counting coins from a pouch.
What do you wish to do?
a) Go to the jeweler
b) Go to the weapons merchant
c) Go to the mystery merchant
d) Approach the young boy
e) Go to the sewing merchant
f) Go to the supplies merchant
g) Go to the food merchant

Coreth just smiled warmly, taking no obvious offense to your earlier comment. "That's quite alright. Words are just words, after all," he shrugged. "And that depends on what you want to find. Dwarven clans in the mountains. Elvish tribes in the forest. Pixie clans pretty much anywhere. Solitude, in the desert." He paused. "A home, wherever it sees fit."

Camilla took a deep, steadying breath. Talking with Coreth had been...enlightening. She had left home, if you could even call it that. She had run away from everything she had ever known, possessing no outstanding skills and with few supplies, yet she had survived this long hadn't she? Yes, and that was not nothing. Perhaps she was more capable than she was giving herself credit for.
"I thank you," she said, standing and giving him a curtsy in her new dress, "Your words have given me much to think about, and no small bit of encouragement either. I am in your debt, and now shall go try to find my direction." She nodded at him and then turned around to...

There was much to think about as Camilla surveyed her options. She thought about what Coreth had said about what could be found in either direction. She still felt uncertain about her future, but she knew she couldn't go backwards. She probably wouldn't survive it, and even if she did she would spend her entire life regretting it.
Elvish tribes in the forest... Thats what Coreth had said. Well, she had always been painfully (often literally) aware of her hybrid heritage. She had no daydreams about finding some long lost relatives and being welcomed warmly, but perhaps at least she could find someone who could help her make more sense of what she was meant to do in life. She took a final deep breath breath and headed in the direction of...
c.) The forest
...the lush forest, her steps perhaps just slightly more self-confident.

You entered the forest, finding more green than you had ever imagined possible in one area. Mice scurried through the undergrowth while magpies watched them curiously and ants traversed trunks. The forest was somehow more alive to you than any other place you'd seen. It was almost as if you belonged here.
That being said, you didn't take more than twenty steps into the canopic beauty before your steps triggered a trap and you were suddenly caught up high in a net dangling from a tree branch. You have very limited movement and your satchel is underneath you, where you cannot get to it.
What do you wish to do?
a) Scream
b) Cry
c) Try to escape
d) Try to get to your satchel

Stepping into the forest seemed to immediately fill Camilla with vigor. There had been some woods near the village she had grown up in, but it was mainly farmland in every direction. This...this felt different, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. She felt calmer...at least until she took a step and suddenly found herself hanging in mid-air trapped in a net. She instinctively...
a.) Scream and g.) Squirm
...let out an initial scream of fear and began squirming around inside the net as much as she was able.

You squirmed and wriggled, but it was to very little avail. And then a laugh sounded from a bit away, feminine and so amazingly musical, like the wind chimes of the Heavens were singing for you. It wasn't a particularly mean laugh, either, just one of success, of pure joy.
And then a woman stepped out from behind a cluster of trees and your breath was gone.
She was kind of odd, with pink skin and lavender hair, cat-like aquamarine eyes and a dizzying body of baby blue and varying purple lightly sprinkled over her. She had gentle freckles spattered over her cheeks like raindrops and for a moment she seemed like the most beautiful thing you had ever seen.
When she laid eyes on you, she frowned in the softest, sweetest way, with her lower lip pouting out slightly, gently. "Oh. And here I was hoping I'd have caught that pesky bear for dinner. Ah well," she stated and leaned back against a tree, a small, close-lipped smile crossing her face as she examined you, still stuck in the net.
