Asha began to cry. They had to have been the ones she stole from. Why else would they have chased her down like they had? She spilled out the contents of her bag. P-please! You can have it back... just let me leave in peace! she said.

"Have what back? Hey there's no reason to cry!" Carefully Ner changed back into his human form, making sure to keep the girl from falling. "We aren't going to hurt you, we just wanted to help! You seemed so afraid when you ran off that you seemed like you needed someone to help you deal with whatever was making you scared. Not that I'm saying you aren't capable of holding your own, it just that-"
"I think she gets the point."

Help me? she said quietly. She began picking the stuff back up. She paused. She remembered her father saying something about an eight-legged horse. She shook her head. Thank you sir! But I neednt any help. I can manage. May I ask your names? she said. She put the bag back on her shoulder.

"I'm Sleipnir, son of Loki. You must be Asha, mother told stories about meeting you when he was on earth." The man said standing, his cheeks taking on a slight blush. "Of course that was back when you were a baby, so I'm doubtful you would remember him."

Asha stared at him. She looked around at the others. She smiled weakly. F-funny story! Haha... Youre not being serious, r-right? she asked. So he was someone her father had spoken about. She considered running again, but decided that these people were probably much faster and stronger than her.

"Why wouldn't I be serious?" Ner asked cocking his head to the side in a questioning way. "If you question it still I can change again...."

Thorin nodded and smiled sadly at April, he put his ring back on and stood up, "Asha, do you know a place where we can stay?" Thorin asked gently, careful not to speak too loud and scare her.

Bryn shook his head,"I miss anything important?" he asked.He had spaced out

"Are you alright?" Ner asked the girl that had ran from them. His words were drowned out though by sudden bursts of gunfire.
"Get on the ground! We have you all surrounded! Any sign of resistance will led to deadly force, you have been warned!" A voice boomed as a squad of armed individuals came out of the ruble. "You won't be asked a second time."
