He hoped not everyone suspected him to be the killer. He only found the body! He was already close to Tigersparrow, he would never kill anyone, even if it was a different clan.

From my spot next to Songheart I nod at Charredpelt. "Good idea." I look around and then add "I believe Redmask left to guard the camp entrance. Not that it'll do much help if the murderer is living with us." she finishes ominously. then looks over at Songheart apologetically as if to say that she doesn't mean to disgrace Tigersparrow's death.

Redmask looked over his shoulder, "It is barely sunhigh. Notice how they struck at night? it's much more likely to be of another clan. Check if there are any tuft of fur between the claws first, then," he paused, "Shiverthorn, Frostberry, go on a hunting patrol. Foxfang, you take care of Songheart. Charredpelt, take one border, Sunburr take the other. If it is from another Clan, we can't take the threat lightly. Cloudheart, rest. You'll be on guard with me tonight."
Redmasks tail flicked with annoyance as he limped towards the warriors den. The elders and kits wouldn't survive without prey and they couldn't risk an invasion. He'd tried to keep most cats separated just encase, but he couldn't help but feel a tingle down his spine about maybe keeping an eye on everyone.

I nod to acknowledge Redmask's word before yawning and loping back to the warrior's den for some sleep. Before I do however I cannot help but think that perhaps Shiverthorn is innocent.

((As this stage of the round progresses, I suggest you get all the cats together to take a formal vote on the killer. It is really hard for me to say that a cat was banished based upon internal suspicions.)) ((See ongoing conversation below because patrols just went off))
