"No, they have guns! You would be killed before you got close." Steven said quickly putting a binky in the child's mouth. That would calm her for a bit, just until they got to safety. Once through the hedge again he ran along the wall, keeping his back low. "There! The interstate exit out of here!" Steven said pointing to the sign that hung over the road. "If we can get there we can follow the road out of town."

"okay...." he put his knife up.He then ducked thru the hedge and into the intersection."Crap moose!" he said as a large moose was on the interstate."Careful don't make eyecontact"

Liam nodded.
" You all should go first. I have two pistols with some ammo left, I could give you a window to get out of here. "
Besides, He thought. They have much more to lose then I do...
He made sure his pistols were ready and loaded, and kept his finger on the trigger.

"Seems like our only option." Kenneth said, following a few feet behind. "Damned ------ with guns."

"We don't have time to deal with it!" Steven said in a hushed whisper. The dead had drawn in, growling and moaning as they closed in for the kill. "******...******...******..." he cursed looking about them. "Alright, just keep low and keep going to the edge of the city. Stay against the wall, if anything comes this way run, run like hell. And if I go down someone take Sammy alright? I don't care if I turn just get her out of here." He didn't wait for an answer and he crouched against the back of the median. The dead seemed to be comeing from each side, closing in on the moose. If anything they could kill or injure it to buy time.

The moose agitated kicked a few making bone-crunching sounds.It snorted and Hawk cringed."And that's why we don't bother with them." he drew his knife ready to throw it.Barnaby(The owl,sorry i keep changing the name ><) puffed up

Blue gulped. She followed Steven. She hated the dead. They were once alive and despite being disfigured, they had a face. They tried to kill you, so you had to rekill them or be killed. It was painful. She just stayed silent. She wasnt sure what to say anyways.

Almost there...almost there...though as they neared the city limits the masses of dead grew larger making it difficult to sneak past them. They managed without incident though, making it to the safety of the edge of town. It was then that Sammie spit the binky out and went to crying again. "Blue get me the diapers and wipes please." Steve said pulling the child from his baby backpack. Right, normal parodical clean diaper, feed, and get back to happy child.

Kenneth went rigid, "How the he--" Kenneth coughed, "did you all manage to get diapers and wipes in this deserted (or semi-populated with the killer undead) place?"

Blue looked at Kenneth. Finding diapers and wipes is easy. People dont generally think to grab such a thing when running from the killer dead so you are more likely to find extra diapers and wipes in an abandoned house than medical supplies. Plus babies are more likely to die than a full grown adult in these situations. Sammy here is lucky to be alive and I am sure we are ALL glad she is. she said. She sighed and pulled out the diapers and wipes. She handed them over to Steven then sat down.
