Ponos and his Vessel Kai had followed their companions to the camp. Is aura was still glowing slighltly "Is this place safe, sister?" asked Ponos, using the mind connection.

He turned towards Apatheia, and smirked when she saw her make her vessel yelp.
"I see you have realized how hurting people can be useful, Apatheia!""

He decided to answer to her human vessel. Mainly to mess with the human girl. These humans. They were discusding important matter and the death of their comrades, and all they wanted was befriending each other. At least his vessel had understood his pain and the gravity of the situation and did not try to take control over him at now.
"I am Ponos, the demon of Pain. He had spoken with an exaggeratedly low and creepy voice. He knew that the mention of the domain he was ruling over was often enough to make the humans fear him.
"The name of my human vessel his Kai. You will meet him soon enough. He is great. Broken. Full of suffering. If he had not know pain in his life he would have become a very sweet boy.I can't say it a shame. Sweet and happy boys are boring and annoying."

Via punched Ponos' arm jokingly. "Stop messing with her." Her eyes glowed a dangerous amber. "We have work to do, and yes' it's safe."

Katifeia followed morosely.

"she has a stubborn side...and i told her not to interfer.." she growled

Ponos grinned "It was a compliment, Apatheia. Who should I stop to mess with, Via? With Apathy or her vessel? I won't hurt any of your vessel, at least yet. We need them for now. But I still like to make them remember that we could hurt them. If we are in safety, I will let Kai takes control for a bit before he tries to rebel. We can communicate using the telepathic bond now anyway. Don't make your auras too strong while he's in control of his body, you don't want him to summon my powers accidently"

The truth was that Ponos wanted to hide his anger, sadness, and his own pain.
The aura surounding Kai disminished, and his eyes became clearer. The boy looked at children who were like him, vessels for powerful demons who once spreaded terror among humans. He wanted to introduce himself to the other children, but he feared the demons within them.
They won't do anything to you, stupid boy. You are the vessel of pain. Ponos said in his mind.

"Hello. My name is Kai. It's nice to meet you.". The voice coming from his mouth was now higher and softer.
Nice was probably not the best term to use when you are meeting demons, the young teenager realized as Ponos sighted in his head. Kai was very unsure of what he was supposed to say.
"I mean it's nice to meet other children who live with a demon. It's an honor to meet demons." The boy corrected himself.

Apathia:"Pfft nice isn't the word.."

"You don't like my vessel, Apatheia? He only wants to be polite. He still doesn't realize that us demons do not care about politeness and courtesy. It's a lost of time". Ponos said using the mind connection which linked him to the other demons.
Hearing this coming from his head only made the poor Kai more confused and unsure of himself.

"I don't like really anyone but i have to because my vessel likes helping"

Via's faint aura flickered. She gritted her teeth, then stormed up to one of the big treehouses, the one in the best condition, and climbed in. She glared at the slightly musty trio of sleeping bags out. Probably some little kids' fort. A poster for a movie ignited into flames, and with a huff, Via collapsed on the orange one, completely worn.

Fovos suddenly feeling tired retreated to her conscious, allowing Huri to take over. "uh? why am i back into control again?" Huri thought as he looks around. His tails, wings, and even his ears disperse. "Don't mind it Ri," Fovos said to him in her regular carrying voice. "Its just that i don't want to push your body to the breaking point. Go to sleep next t to Via. You can trust her, Even though she is somewhat hot tempered." Fovos said to Huri before falling silence. Huri stood there before walking slowly to the tree. He climbs up the steps before standing at the entrance to the tree house. "Umm.... Could i sleep here?" Huri asks Via in a nervous voice.

What are you waiting for, standing here like that? Ponos told Kai in his mind, irritated. Go and find a place to sleep as well.
The boy had not moved or even spoken, impressed by the presence of demons and fearing he would do or say something stupid again.
"Ok, I'm going to sleep as well" answered Kai out loud.
Due to is light fear of the other demons but mostly to Ponos influence, he decided to choose is own Tree house.
