~Orion~
He turned away from the book and began to walk, soon that walk turned to a jog and then to a run. He needed to get away, he may hate the humans but not all of them did anything. He didn't want to be the reason they all died, it would be too horrible. Suddenly, he was stopped by a force and it seemed as though he was walking to the book without moving himself and a voice said "Pick up the book, young boy." It's voice was sickly sweet, light, like someone singing. He shook his head violently, "I don't want to..." It pulled him closer and repeated "Pick up the book, young boy!" He bent down and picked it up, scared for his life by this odd voice that was speaking to him, "Why... Why do you want me to pick it up?" He could imagine them smiling, creepily at him, it sent a shiver down his spine. "Open the book... Turn to the last page and say, 'I release you.'" Orion repeated the phrase and a puff of golden smoke flew out from the book where the writing was and formed the image of a woman with flowing golden hair in it, it then drifted further and further away until it disappeared from view, leaving only the voice, "I'll see you again, young boy."
Orion walked with the book clasped tightly to his chest, his eyes were still wide from the golden woman. He wandered further and further until he saw something in the trees above him. "Hello!?" He shouted up at it. He gazed further up until he realised it was Alex. "Alex?" He asked quietly. "Is that you..?" He started his way up the tree until he came face to face with Alex. He then noticed a girl. "Who's that?"

Arion

Arion lay in the darkness, a blind fold over his eyes, his arms chained above him to the cold, damp wall and his legs chained to the ground. He was quite unpredictable and to prevent injuries, he was chained up. He snorted irritably as he tried to stand up, his legs felt weak from lying down for too long. Angrily, his tail whacked against the wall as he stumbled to stand. He stood on shaky legs like a new-born foal, he grumbled a string of profanities until he found his balance, leaning against the wall. 'I want to get out of here' he though as he tried to move his arm to his head. Clank. The restricting chains echoed through out the room. "I'm out of luck for now" he mused as he sat on his haunches.

I smile as i see the door way. "After my legs get better i need to go back into the lab to get some of my belongings. I know i don't have much left but i need what is left there." As the breeze pass by i feel something i had never before "Freedom". Now all is left is me to recover.

How long had she been down there? It hadn't seemed like that long, yet at the shape her body was in proved it have been quite a while. Even the short, yet nonetheless straining walk down the slope seemed to wear her out. Panting some she stopped near the river, taking a seat upon a large rock close to the water. Dang it, her stomach was already growling again, not good with her limited food supply. Though in order to recover she needed to eat. So the rest of the food was quickly eaten and washed down with some river water. "Right, now I need to find a place to set up camp and then get more food." With that she set off down the back of the river to a flatter spot that a camp could be set up in. "Perfect, a few branches from the woods and I can make a fire. May have to get my boots and feet wet but I'll catch a fish or two for dinner." Kass nodded then, before turning and heading off into the woods. There was plenty of dead wood here, not really a good sign. If there were bundles of stick she just laying about that meant there were no people nor villages about. So she was on her own. Well enough...

Bending down again she gather another stick and added it to the handful, a ritual she had preformed time and time again through her life and training. "That should do." Happy with her findings she began to head back to her camp, though a quick movement to her side made her stop. Hushed footsteps...must be a rabbit, or a bird. An easy meal. Careful the sticks were put to the side and the sword drawn. Her cat like eyes peered into the brush, catching sight of the brown body of the rabbit. The silver glint of the sword cut through the air as the blade was plunged down, ending the animal's life quickly. "And now I even have dinner." Smiling she pulled the sword up and collected her reward. Now all she needed was a fire.

Smoke bellowed up as the flames are at the wood it had been given. The sweet smell of cooking meat caused her stomach to growl loudly, makin the wait last even longed. At last though it was done and she was able to quickly eat it and toss the bones to the side. Perfect. Finally after days of starving she was finally full! Now all she needed was sleep, and lots of it in the warmth of the fire. Sure she was sleeping on the ground, on some leaves and stuff she had found but it was still better than being locked in a cage. Yawning slightly she sat up on her knees, head down. Meditation first though...then sleep.

Arion

He sat, his tail twitching with anticipation as the sound of footsteps and rattling keys approached the door. His gaze turned towards the door as the noise stopped right outside the door. He tilted his head, he patiently waited with anticipation as he waited for the door to open. Nothing. "What?" he whispered as he hauled himself up and tried to walk to the door, however, he had forgotten about his hands being chained to the wall. "Oof!" he stumbled over the chain. An irritated grumble emitted from his throat as he rolled onto his side, his upper body twisted on to his belly, his head resting in one palm. "Cursed blindfold, cursed chains, god forsaken humans" he hissed, his tail whipping behind him, similarly to an angry cat.

(Ping? what does that mean?)
