He looked back at his nest, seeing the feather missing. "Where'd it go?!" He cried in surprise. He searched the nursery, but suddenly felt super warm. He was shivering, but felt like he was burning up in the middle of summer. A small voice whispered in Tunnelkit's ear, but it was too quiet to hear.

Bracken Star opened his eyes, hearing Honey Kit's purr. He looked upat Root Song, not lifting his head. He didn't want to bother his kit by moving. Scorched Kit had woken up, and was now scrambling upright, as he did, he remembered the soft thing under him.
