The shape makes you think it broke off of something.
But you put it in your pocket for now.
You look at your surrondings. Desert.
Should you: keep walking, go back, or walk a different direction?

(By the way, I am going to camp for a week so I will be gone, but reply anyway and I will reply when I get back)

I'll head back, but only to get more water, and food.

Go back down to the canyon and search for more chips

I go north

Rest.

You walk back, and finally see the mountains again. The Qitari herd is no where to be seen. Hex trots to a stream and drinks, then splashes into it. You fill your canteen and drink. You take out the golden piece of something, and clean it in the water. It shines and glitters very brightly.
You look around. Do you head south, north, west, or east?

You decide to not tell her about the sunstone, in fear she may want it for herself.
You nod to her and look around.

"Where should I sleep?" you ask.

"You can sleep on my bed, or I can make you a place on the floor." Rhoda says.

"I will take the bed, if you don't mind." you say as you move toward it.

"Sure!" Rhoda pats the bed, and Dragon curls up on the end.

"Thank you again." you say, and fall asleep.

The next morning, you wake up, and Rhoda is no where to be seen. You panic and check the pocket where the piece of sunstone is. It's still there. You sigh in relief.
The door opens, and Rhoda comes in with a pot of water.

"Good morning." she says, setting the pot on her little table. "I was just getting ready for our journey!"

You wonder if letting her come along was a good idea, but you push it away, getting out of the bed. Your belly rumbles as Rhoda hands you a plate of meat and some sort of plants. She sets a plate of raw meat on the floor for Dragon.
You eat, and watch Rhoda stuff things in bags, and fill up canteens with water.

"So, are you a Savi, Flo, or Javva?" you ask "I have not been trained in any of those, sadly," Rhoda says, "but I wish to be taught some time."

You nod, and open your own pack. You are low on everything. Rhoda gives you everything you need. You are about to head out, but you hear a tinkle, and you realize your piece of sunstone fell out of your pocket.
You quickly reach for it, but Rhoda has it before you can pick it up.

Rhoda doesn't seem to interested in it, but she sees a hint of panic in your eyes and her interest grows. "What is this?" she looks it over, and glancing across your face.

You remember you found the piece in the river above you.
Do you want to go up and look, or stay in the village?

Go restock on supplies then look for more sun stone
