Sophie snorted at him. "Yeah right. Being a skunk is way better." she said sarcastically realizing her mistake. "And how would you know how soft a skunk's fur is?" She asked realizing what he said. She couldn't tell because when she touched herself she couldn't feel past the fur on her hands.

" i had a pet skunk before. she was the sweetest little thing. Loved blueberries, and the cat...." i shutter. " If you lived like i have then you arent to surprised by much. So what did you get settled with?" i say opening her door. " you should see pet bear cubs, most of my greatest memories are with bear cubs."

Sophie shrunk back in the cage going deeper into the shadows still not wanting to come out. "Ah. Okay." She said she still didn't trust the guy.

Worst ones... I thought. "How can there be an animal classified as 'worst'? I mean, I know there's some pretty weird animals out there, like vultures, but none of them are undesirable. So come on! I bet you some people find foxes one of the 'worst' animals."

Sophie snorted. "Vultures are cool. And have you ever seen anyone hug a skunk? Not you." She said the last bit turning to the boy and putting her bare fury arm out of the shadow she was in. "People find most skunks repulsive, right?" I said inching a little out of the shadow where my fury legs were showing my face and tail still were in the shadow so they couldn't see.

" i find skunks very pretty, but then again i am not able to smell them." the feeling of being scared returns and i change into a coati. i felt bad, but then we all had problems here. this thought made me feel better, and i change back. "i think i can get use to this." i smile.


"i'll say." i hide in the shadows. none of them would want to see me. i was a monster.

"I don't find skunks repulsive! They're awesome. Some breeds can do handstands! And the part about the stink: They only spray if there scared. It's like a humans screaming."

Sophie still didn't want to come out no matter how much these two people seemed to like skunks. She never did. "Is that so?" She asked going back to her old self. She heard someone speak in other shadows. "Who's there?" Sophie asked.

"Someone much like all of you but still different." I slowly walk out of the shadows.

Tony: "Cool your a cat!" But I could tell that she was right. She could not change like myself but was stuck in her cat form. I felt bad for saying any thing.

Something jolted my brain when I saw the cat. I had a strong urge to pounce on it. My tail twitched and I licked my fangs. Yep. I had fox teeth too. I looked down and saw I had fox claws. Had those been there before? Or am I still changing? I shuddered at the thought. But a memory came to me. I was running in the woods. I was scared, running faster and faster. But what was I running from? I kept good speed until I tripped over a root and fell on my face. I rolled onto my back and saw a large human figure loom over me. Then, I was on the floor of my cell. "What- What just happened?"
