Juliana sighed relieved. "Well, Gabriel has black hair." She said. "So I'm not completely sure." She said. "But Velvet..." She said, her eyes switching back to look at the screen. "I-I have difficulties..." "Our staff can help, Juliana." The doctor said reassuringly. "Surgery." Juliana said. "Yes, would you like to plan a Caesarean Section?" "I-I...Velvet, what do you think?" She asked nervously.

(Caesarean section? Oh)

"Well, I'm not the one being operated on, but if it's the best way........." Velvet said nervously, glancing over at the doctor for an answer. "I mean, I get queezy at the sight of blood, especially my own, so........ I can't really help you on this. I'm sorry Juliana. I just can't. You're the one having the babies. You're the one being operated on. You're the one who makes the decisions. It's your choice. Your choice and only your choice counts."

"Well..." She said hesitantly. "It is the best way for you and your children if you all want to survive." The doctor insisted. "I suppose... I guess so." She finally decided. "If my children survive, then that's what matters." She said. "Okay. Your due date...is in about 3 weeks, so yes. We're available." The doctor told them. "Velvet, will you stay with me during it...? Please?" Juliana begged.

Martha chuckled, before she began walking to the lab. "Come on then, let's get going." She said, throwing a glance over her shoulder. "But at least I didn't forget anything, that would have been... Bad..." She continued with a slight frown.

Arashi rolled his eyes. Of course, sometimes the answers were always simple, instead of complicated answers. "Guess I failed again, huh?" He asked, as his wolves sat on their hind paws, a reflection of each other as they licked the right front paw.

"Ouch..." Elsa said, flinching. "If you don't mind, may I join then? I think it'll benefit both of us if the two of us did the amputation... She must have had a hard life... That poor child..." She said sorrowfully.

Hesitating for a moment, Velvet sighed and said, "Fine. Because you asked. I won't like it though. I'll be sick." she warned. To the doctor she asked, "Is Juliana ready to go? I'll make sure to bring her back in 3 weeks."

"Okay." Fredrick agreed. What was the value of z when c was -23 again? Oh yes...how could he forget? Yup. After this he was gonna sleep. "We know how to make metals and such transparent, but living, human flesh? How can we do that?" He said, sighing. However did professor Philips figure it out?

"No. You didn't." Cyrus said, shaking his head. "You just need to think widely. Hey, next time you come, think about this riddle and answer it, okay? It's pretty easy." He said.
"I am not alive
but I grow; I don't have lungs
but I need air; I don't have a mouth
but water kills me. What am I?" He chuckled. "Think about it."

"Yes. I would think so." She said. She nodded in agreement. Disease was still at hand, affecting people of all ages. She then heard her pager beep. "Um, wait a sec..." She mumbled and took it out of her pocket. "Anya here." Pause. "Oh what? That's too bad." Pause. "Hey Elsa, seems one of the surgeons won't be available. You'll be replacement, okay...?" She asked.

"No. You won't have to watch of you don't want to. There'll be a drape. We don't advise our patients to actually watch the live procedure. You can just stay around her...reassure her." The doctor explained. "Thank you, Velvet, thank you." Juliana said. "I just don't know how I could get through...thanks." "You may go home. And you will see signs when Juliana is ready to give birth." The doctor nodded. Juliana sat up from the bed. "Thanks, doc." "Anytime." Juliana stepped off and unrolled her shirt. "Let's go."

Letting out a long sigh, Velvet grabbed Juliana's hand and tugged her along behind her out of the hospital. Around and around corners, down streets, until they arrived at Velvet's house. Opening the door, she ushered Juliana in and quickly locked the door behind them. "Let's go change again upstairs, unless you would rather stay in the pants and shirt?" she asked.

"Uh, I'll stay in this outfit." Juliana said. "You can go change...I want to think for awhile." She said and walked to the large couch. "To sort everything out, you know." Sighing, she leaned against the couch and closed her eyes. In just three weeks...that wasn't very much time. Little did she know that the day of her operation would be he most horrifying and painful day of her life.

"Hm... Well, if he did it with living flesh... But we can only do it to metal.. what makes us different? Our chemical make-up? Yes, we all know that, but what in out make-up makes us different and causes the invisibility not to work? Sigh, if we could only figure that out..." Martha pressed her fingers to her temples, rubbing her aching head. All the options they could do, all the paths they could take... It could take years to figure out the formula! But the professor... Just how did he do it...?

"Shouldn't it be fire?" Arashi asked, chuckling as well. This was a... strange sort of 'friendship' they had between them. Both were alright with the other, yet they never did bother much about the other. And everytime Cyrus would ask him a riddle, and he in turn would answer, or do as best as he could to do so.

"E-eh-eh?! Nante... Alright. I will." Elsa said, as Namida leaned against her leg, rubbing against it. "I'll do my best!" She continued with confidence, though slightly shaking. She may be a medic, but she couldn't handle amputations well.
