"It's the only thing I do in my free time, so I guess it is a hobby if you think about it... Don't think about it. It gets confusing." Nethimir finally reached the surface of the water, poking her head up without bothering to check if anyone was there.

Btw, for it's images, I used a few Free to use bases, since my human anatomy sucks. Once I finish them I'll put them with my other forms)

She follows, surfacing too. It's cloudy, though not rainy, and cool out. There's a tawny yellow streak on the horizon- the beach. "Well, that's not really my sorta thing. But, everyone's hobbies are different!" She shrugs with yet another cheerful grin.

Nethimir looked over at Nila. "Can you walk on the beach? I'm not carrying you, since you insist on following me."

"Kinda. It's tiring, but I'm used to it." She shrugs. "I expect it's easier for you with those," she gestures to her tentacles, "but I can get around okay."

"Good. Wait here." Nethimir dived back down into the water, being gone for a few minutes. when she resurfaced, she had a cloak on, and another in her hand.

She stares at the cloak curiously. "What's that?"

"A cloak. I wear it whenever I go to the surface so humans don't see that I'm a literal fish. I suggest you wear one too." Nethimir rolled her eyes, handing the other cloak to Nila.

She puts it on excitedly. "Cool!"

Nethimir said nothing more, swimming to the beach and surfacing, making sure the cloak covered her legs.

She follows. She uses the muscles in her tail to keep herself moving and upright, though she's of course much slower on the sandy beach.
