Zex began following Justice.

Akira watched them go before shifting into a hummingbird and following them out inconspicuously.

Clarity watched them and...stayed put. She nervously twisted her fingers, but she wasn't going to upset her brother and follow like a baby elephant.

Justice's pace was rather quick until he got outside. "Asking to date my sis. I hope you know this isn't something that'll be taken lightly." Justice's tone had turned to a slight growl but not cruel, just quite serious.

Akira wasn't used to the term upset. Besides, she would do any harm. She would just follow them and eavesdrop on their conversation.

"I know. " He replied.

True for Akira, not true for Clarity. She understood the term and more so did she how upset her brother could get. Mostly because she'd seen him a little angry with Shade and that had been enough.

"You better." he said, turning to him. "And I want to make sure you understand just what your walking into with this family, we do things different than the humans per say in some ways. Such as the protection of the females of the house, if you take in Clarity you'd have to care for her, she wouldn't be under the eldest males protection anymore. That's me."

" I know. We have similar rules on my home planet. Women are very important to us there and we value them above our own lives. That would apply to Claire too. "

well, Akira listened to their conversation from afar. Because why not.

"I'd like to see what you'd do at an attack. I trust you, Zex. That's why I'm giving you a chance, other wise..." His voice turned cold, his real animal side barely apparent. "You'd be dead where you stand." (Credit to Undertale by Toby Fox.). Then he softened slightly again. " Fight me, out anywhere and no weapons. I won't use my claws, but I do have hard blows." His eyes challenging and serious, the yellow depts where swirling with heart felt protectiveness over his dear little sister....all he had left to remember his mother. She meant more to him than just the female of the house, she was the living and breathing daughter of his mother that he'd stood right there to let go with that very baby girl furry in his arms, cuddled up in her blanket as a tiny pup. His only real, living family left.

He closed his eyes, then opened them. He was...hesitant. Not because he didn't think he could beat Justice, but because he was afraid he wouldn't be able to hold back. Like last time...But this was for Claire. He had to. " ...Fine. I'll fight you. "

Justice nodded, purely serious and he honestly wasn't scared. He would fully understand if Zex actually hurt him even fately, because he would know that he truly loved Clarity and would protect her perfectly.

Zex knew how important Justice was to Claire. And he would hate it if...something bad happened to Justice because of him. Claire would hate it, and hate him.

That was very well true a thing to worry of, Clair would be left with no family and she'd actually break down. All she knew was her brother that had always kicked bullies for her. Bitten teachers for her. Picked flowers with her when she had skid her knee and he fixed it up. Cuddled her when someone said her fur made her look fat. Things like that, if she lost him....well she'd be heart broken. And she very well might be quite mad with Zex, but being Clair she couldn't really hate.

But Justice seemed perfectly confidant that things would be fine, even though he knew Zex was probably able to easily over power the furry.
