He sigh. " Probably nearing one hundreed by now and it would be alot more if i hadn't went out of my way to avoid the main entrances. I know how vital those events are, it dosn't change the fact that the compleat lack of class of some peoples make it difficult not to despise them." In fact there was nothing enjoyable for him about being stuck in a crowd of people that act like little childreens while trying to get you to agree to their opinions, he just had to state it in a neutral way in case there was an ear too many listening to him.

Nicote popped up nearby. "If any of you get cornored by a ******** lady wearing an outrageously ******** hat with a ****** dress made with too much ***** lace and she asks you where the cheif advisor ***** went, tell her that I'm in the ****** men's room. She heard some ******* rumor I'm ***** single and think I shoould **** marry her **** beautful daughter but she just wants my ****** family name." he groaned before disappearing again.

Ema blinked.

Remilia gave a small laugh as she looked towards the ballroom floor.
"It's funny, how peasants desire to be like us and how we desire to be like them some days. People really can't ever be truly happy with what they are given." She said absentmindedly, giving a bit of a shiver when one of her suitors glanced her way.
"Such imbeciles... Honestly, I would be much better off marrying a man that won't die a year after we marry. I'm only eighteen, surely they don't want such a young wife, but I guess they don't care or mind." She gave a sigh, and then looked over at Averill.
"Your smile has gotten better recently, any reason to that?"

He raised his eyebrow slightly. " Was it now? I didn't notice, maby you simply started to get used to see it." sighing slightly he add. " If you were hoping to get information on wheter or not i had found someone, let just say that this part of my life is as dead as my eyes are cold."

*ugh drops in the angsty advistor*

Nicote popped back out from the nearby shadows cast on the wall, joinign the table. Apparantly his trip to the "bathroom" had not gone as planned.

Remilia gave a small laugh as she watched other people mingle and chat.
"Gotten used to it? I've been used to it since I was a child. Something is different." She glanced over at him, a small smirk on her face.
"Don't be so sure, you aren't even through your whole life yet. Or are you embarrassed to admit you found the person?" Remilia smiled some more as she turned towards the crowd again.
"Besides, what would stop you? Here in a little while, your father won't have control over you anymore. You won't have to play pretend for him anymore. Doesn't that excite you? I'm ready to leave my miserable existence here behind and start a new one. I've been the evil duchess long enough."

He sigh and nod slightly. " I can't wait for this mascarade to be done with already, let the mask finaly fell and be free of this prison of gold and ice i have called life for too long. It's time for some well neaded changes and i can't be more excited about it." He looked around, keeping a calm yet slightly bored look to avoid attracting unwanted attention to the conversation, he had carefully avoided the subject of personal life since he wasn't sure what to make of that information. He realy had no past experiences of anything in this area due to his upbrigning, making it very difficult for him to know for sure what he was fealing if anything at all.

Ahelissa nodded once to Remilia, then immediately started off toward the food tables. After cramming a whole turkey leg, half a rack of pork ribs, some pheasant, and a pile of steamed potatoes on her plate, she set off toward the desert table. There, she found her apple pie, some fruit, and part of a cake that looked like it was worth a small fortune. She scanned the crowd for Ema, then found her near the back of the huge ballroom. Balancing the two plates in her hands, she hurriedly set off toward her. When she reached the table, she set her plates down and sang in a sing-song voice, "The fun has arriiiived!" She made finger guns and added, "Please, hold your applause. Signatures will be given out at the end of the show." She flashed a goofy smile at Ema and sat down.

"Too late. I ate three plates fill of sweeties." Ema grinned a little,perkingup.

"Well, I must go back to.... my suitors. They're very impatient men. I will see you after the evening is over." Remilia gave a playful wink, before her expression went to calm and graceful as she stood up, giving another polite bow. She honestly just wanted to hide by him forever from those men, but what kind of duchess would she be if she did that?
"Not a very good one." She mumbled under her breath as the three middle aged men noticed she was returning to the floor, practically stepping on each to her to greet her first. She tried to remain cheerful and polite, although her mouth irked a few times with her disgust.
