But then a couple years later he met Akira and everything was good for awhile...

For a while, yes. Things had meant so much more to him and he'd given Clair smiles like he'd not had in years...but then things sorta whacked out. The only one of the group that hadn't had some sort of sad time after they'd left home and gotten over the break downs of leaving was Clarity. She had cried at first and for Zex but other whise she's stayed positive and happy.

which was good. Positivity and happiness is always good.

And she'd always been good at that. She'd been happy in her innocents of just that she'd lost her father and other older brother. All she knew was that she had Justice and sometimes, now more often, Shade. It had just been the most of her norm. And she'd made herself understand to take what life threw at her and let herself enjoy what she could. And in this case, what made her happy and feel more like she had something to hold onto was Zex.

Because she loved him. And he loved her back.

And for both of them, it would probably make life much sweeter even in these wild times.

So Clair was very happy, a bit more than usual, to be walking to her brother to ask if she and Vex could be together.

Justice roused a bit but not by to much, ears twitching faintly but not really by much.

Zex walked up to Justice's room and knocked on the door.

Clarity bounced at his side, wings shifting restlessly on her back and tail wagging side to side happily in a way that emphasized her rump more than usual.

Justice's ears flicked once as his eyes opened a bit. "Hm?"
