She launches into the air, headed for the door.

But, once outside of the room, she heads towards where she hears voices. She bursts into one of the nearby room and starts attacking the scientists. Shes also made anadditional preparation that the scientists are not gonna be happy about.

the scientists who werent killed fired on her.

She claws and bites, trying to avoid the bullets. Her feathers are sticking to their clothes and skin, something that they were not doing the first time.

that was worrying to the scientists.

Only a few moments after the feathers stick to them, the places where the feathers touching start to burn.
Not fire-wise, (in fact, the feathers are actually cold), but it sure as heck feels like theyre on fire. And the fact shes still attacking them isnt exactly helping ease the pain.

and they screamed.

Theres some sort of waxy substance on the feathers- that must be whats causing the agonizing sensation.

they try to wipe it off, failing.
