He didn't say anything else to ferther explain himself and instead focus back on looking at the guests. It wasn't to surprising for him to be scaring the young girl, it was an usual things with preaty mutch anyone that wasn't use to his normal look after all.

Although oddly enough, he was acting a bi t like her owner in that sense.

Ema just watched teh going-ons

The guests of his father were alwais nasty toward those who were inferior to them, seeing them pretending to be civils while attacking each others at the first opening was sickkening to him but he had years of practice, his expression stayed the one of slight bordom while his eyes scanned the crowd with the welcoming aura of a blizard. Luckly they were too busy to come and swarm at him again, he could only hope that his sister would be ready soon.

Ema didnt even want to get close to the crowds....

Emrys gave a small chuckle, Lidia was certainly a bright girl. It was certainly a change from the dull old men that wanted nothing to do with herself unless it involved pointless games.
"I would hope so, although something doesn't feel quite right. Even if our largest threats aren't around, we still have plenty of small ones." Emrys suddenly felt the weight of the clip in her hair, and hurriedly took it out, slipping it gently into her breast pocket. That would be a bit hard to explain if she was found wearing a clip like that to high ranking folks.
"If anything goes out of plan, and we need defense, just keep in mind Amias and I are the same species. Although he might be more skilled, I can still hold my ground pretty well."

Remilia kept her delicate composure, smiling and nodding at a few of the faces, although in all honesty she wanted to rip some of their vain throats out. Their fake was made her sick, but at the same time, she sickened herself with her own fake ness.
She finally reached the ballroom, immediately announced upon her arrival.
"Duchess Remilia Blackwood, and her slave." The man announced, and the whole room pushed for a moment to stare, before going back to their conversations. Although three men popped out of the crowd, nearly running up to her. One had to have been in his fifties, while the other two were in their thirties. It wasn't horrible, but it still unnerved her that they were so desperate as to court an eighteen year old girl.
"G-Good evening gentlemen." She said with a forced smile. She gave a glance back at Ahelissa, biting her lip at the sight of her condition. She wouldn't be surprised if Ahelissa had been abused along the way here.
"Ahelissa, m-might I ask you go talk t-to the other slaves? I must speak to my... urm, acquaintances." Remilia tried to give the girl a chance to go relax, the snobby ladies wouldn't risk their images to pick on a slave in the ballroom, or so she hoped.

His eyes breafly turned toward the door as Remilia enter, he remain calmly seated since he didn't wanted to give the wrong impression to the group of snobish child that called themself high class ladies. From his seat he could still see more layers of makeup on them then there was on the cakes that were avalables.

Remilia looked utterly disgusted as the three men fawned over her, and she almost lost it when one of them was as rude as to grab her arm and try to kiss her hand.
"Excuse me gentlemen, I-" She paused, and whether it was unlucky or lucky for Averill, she turned back to the men and gave a fake apologetic smile.
"I apologize, I haven't announced myself to the prince quite yet, I-I will have to converse with you gentlemen later-" She said as she practically ran from them, not letting them get another word. Although on the way, she was rubbing the spot where the man had touched her arm furiously. She curtsied to Averill before speaking.
"Your majesty." She mumbled before whispered to him. "Please just let me talk to you for a while, it'll keep those gold-diggers away as long as I'm near you. I can do a favor for you later if you wish, or whatever.." Remilia begged in a rather unrefined manner.

He brush her consern away. " It's fine by me, stay as long as necessary, i dont mind in the slightest. This reception is alot bigger then i expected to be, i had my fair share of ... lovely encounter myself and i doubt it will end before the event does."

Remilia gave a sigh of relief, giving a disgusted glance back at the three men, who were now trying to woo some other poor girl.
"I hate events like these... Tell you what, I'll keep the girls off you and you keep the guys off me, okay?" She said with a small smile, still rubbing her arm violently.
"Filthy hand touching my arm, gross..." She grumbled to herself, lighting up her hand with magic and disinfecting her arm a couple times. Honestly, it took all her self control to not kick those men out from the palace, but that would only ruin her reputation.
"Tell me, how many girls have attempted to marry you today?" She asked with a smirk, trying to distract her from feeling ill.
