You head up the path in front of you, wondering about the woman and her warnings. You had to watch your step because of the broken stones on the path.
With how broken the path looked, no one must have gone up it in a long time or it was just abandoned.
You reach the top of the incline and are greeted with the sight of a valley. You notice a small wooded area in the middle. There isnt much else besides what looks like a small river twisting in and out of the wood.
Theres multiple animal trails at the top, but only two look walkable. One is very steep and covered with plant roots, the other is a sunny path that isnt steep at all, but looks like it might take a while to walk.
Which path will you choose?

You carefully mount Ajax. Carah hops up into your lap. Ajax neighs and takes off.
Trees fly past as Ajax brings you away from the lake. Carah clings to you as Ajax continues to gallop through the woods.

(Hey, I noticed you might need a new stable tab to keep all of those hatchery pets you have. Do you need some gold? I'd hate to see some of those pretty pets get released.)
When you wake in the morning, you feel something soft underneath your head. You sit up to investigate and find that Lightning Bug has grown into an adolescent! You were laying on his mane, his tail draped over your lap.
